Forget good or bad taste. Have your own taste.

CHB is not a new drug. Or almost.
It’s a place. A place that isn’t new, but one I discovered very recently. Before I tell you more about it, here’s what it made me think about.

A few days ago, I was reading the latest article by my friend Thibaut, founder of Superspace, who wrote:

“When everyone uses or quickly learns the same visual, textual or sonic language, the signal deteriorates and becomes flavorless. That’s the feeling created by the astronomical amount of content, images, design, documents, articles, films and music produced by machines. A fake taste of old candy.”

Fake taste.

Will fake replace both good and bad taste? But more importantly: does the machine even have taste? So I asked it. And AI answered that it has no personal taste, that it is only a mirror of cultural references and trends. Ouch.
